that likes to eat birds or eggs, coons, snake and even some
squirrels will eat eggs. You can make a predator guard by using plastic
milk jugs cut
in half, then cutting a
hole in the bottom and hanging it on the pole using duck tape to
secure it if needed, This can make an easy and effective predator guard
or you can purchase
a predator
guard. After all you do not want your backyard bird watching to become a horror story.
You
also need to make sure the birdhouse design you
select is
either unpainted or has water-based paints and acrylic latex
and have not been painted with led
based paint or something else that can harm the
bird or it's young.
